Today was a good day. I want to write as much as I can while my mind is still going.

The tamales came out really good. They showed me how to make them. It was fun! We put chicken, potato, carrot, green bean, and some jalapeños. redacted got us some infused drinks. Those were good. I drove redacted to pick up tacos. The car ride was mostly quiet, just the radio playing. I wasn't sure what to talk about and I didn't want it to seem forced. I'm glad they at least trust me enough to do things like that for them. I want to help out as much as I can. I'm working on being more reliable with myself and others. When we returned, we continued assembling tamales and cutting fruit for a beverage we had. I forgot the name but the basic ingredients are cut up fruit, water, and sugar. Let it sit in the fridge for a while until the drink develops. Once we finished up I began organizing my room and watched a podcast. I'm going to make a playlist with videos I find helpful because this was a good one. More on that later. Anyway, I did that, then showered, ate tamales, redacted showed up, he ate, we smoked in the garage and talked, then we went inside to start the night.

We played games with the kids, that was pretty fun. Then we all watched Home Alone 1 & 2 in that order. After we finished part 2 we got to open our stockings. Mine had candy, a brick building set to make a flower in a pot, and a toy car that says "dairy delivery". The car is pretty funny.

Everyone stayed up until midnight to open gifts. I received a lot more than I thought I would. Here's a list in order of what I opened: toy car, brick building set, candy, Lego 3 in 1 set (camera set I've been wanting for years), more candy, and a backdrop with lights. I'm incredibly grateful. It's nice to feel part of a family. That has been the best gift of all.

I'm starting to understand the joy of watching kids open gifts. It brings them so much joy and it's contagious. I got redacted and redacted a boba making kit and a variety of snacks from the Asian market. I always loved when redacted would do that for us so I wanted to pass along that joy it brought me. They liked it a lot. I'm glad everyone seemed to have a nice time.

It's been quite a long, and great, day. My mind and body are tired, but spiritually I feel pretty fulfilled. That's a nice feeling to have. Anyway, I'm going to update my website, watch some videos, and begin to wind down. It was a great day. I love you all. Have a good night and a lovely life. Until next time.
